We are recruiting for a Pricing Advisor to join an established and growing company based in Shefford, Bedfordshire.
This is a great opportunity for someone with around 1–2 years' experience in a sales, customer service or office-based role who is confident dealing with customers and keen to develop their career.
About the role
You will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the sales process, from the initial enquiry through to quotation and order.
Working closely with the wider commercial team, your role will include:
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Preparing accurate quotations and pricing
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products and solutions
- Building and maintaining good customer relationships
- Following up quotations, enquiries and potential projects
- Supporting the sales team with new opportunities and warm leads
- Negotiating orders and helping to achieve sales targets
- Working with internal teams to ensure orders are processed smoothly
- Identifying opportunities to offer additional products and solutions
- Dealing with customer queries and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Keeping customer information and opportunities up to date on the CRM system
- Attending occasional customer visits, exhibitions, seminars and industry events
You will ideally have:
- Around 1–2 years' experience in sales, customer service or an office-based role
- Confidence speaking to customers by phone and email
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive and professional approach
- Good attention to detail and an organised way of working
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer systems
- An interest in learning about technical products and solutions
- A commercial mindset and motivation to achieve results
- The ability to manage several enquiries and tasks at the same time
- A willingness to learn and develop

Working Hours:
Mon- Thu 9:00-17:00, Fri 9:00-16:30 (34.5 hours per week).
Hybrid working: Monday to Wednesday in the Shefford office, Thursday and Friday working from home, following the initial induction/training period.
