Our client is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT on a temporary basis.
Core duties
- Working in a team picking and packing orders to customers high quality standards, always adhering to the clients health and safety requirements.
- Demonstrate unwavering honesty in your actions, uphold the highest standards of integrity in all you do, and show respect for colleagues.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders to customer expectations
- Check incoming components for quality and integrity, highlighting damaged/missing items.
- Moving, organising and storing components, ensuring they are located correctly, making use of lifting equipment and the forklifts.
- Completing and keeping relevant paperwork up to date.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations when operating the machinery and handling products, making use of the equipment available.
- Keep working areas and the Warehouse floor clean and free from hazards.
- Comply with health and safety requirements including wearing appropriate PPE, COSHH and Safe Systems of Work.

- Ensure PAS99 and ISO rules and regulations are adhered to.

Skills, Experience, Behaviours & Attributes
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck and/or a Reach Truck licence (essential).
- Experience of working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Be physically fit with good manual handling skills.
- Enjoy working outside in all climates (suitable clothing and PPE will be provided).
- A team player with a positive attitude, willing to learn and undertake additional duties when required.
- Basic IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Numerate with a good attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, driven and able to work unsupervised with the desire and determination to succeed, achieve goals and company aspirations.
- Flexible in your approach to work and willing to work overtime when required.
- Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times, following the clients Code of Conduct.
- Full valid driving licence.
Hours of Work
37.5hrs per week
Monday to Friday – early (6.00am – 2.00-pm) and late (2.00pm – 10.00pm) rotating shift pattern.
