Our client, a young and ambitious family-run packaging business, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Sales Executive / Manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with — and be mentored by — a company director to drive sales growth and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The role is primarily focused on new business development, so the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, driven, and hungry to succeed. Our client is building a collaborative, success-oriented team, where achievement is recognised and rewarded.

Experience Required:

Previous experience in the food packaging industry is essential, ideally within flexible films or selling into the wholesale butchery, fish, cheese, or ready meal sectors.

Key Duties:

• Developing new business (80%) and managing existing accounts (20%)
• Building long-term relationships with customers
• Growing sales within existing accounts by identifying new product lines
• Maintaining the company’s HubSpot CRM system
• Achieving monthly sales targets
• Participating in monthly performance reviews

• Able to prospect, network, and generate new leads
• Excellent customer service skills
• Honest, resilient, and highly self-motivated
• Passionate about building relationships and delivering value

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ field sales experience
• Currently selling flexible film products or into the meat/ready meal sector
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Commercially aware, with a strategic mindset
