They are seeking an exceptional school leaver to join their team as a Trainee Estimator/Quotations Administrator and develop a genuine long-term career within the business. The Trainee Estimator/Quotations Administrator will learn how to prepare accurate and competitive quotations, understand customer requirements, communicate value effectively and follow opportunities through from initial quotation to confirmed order. The role will combine administration, estimating, customer communication and commercial sales development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for customers.
- Learn how to estimate products, materials and project requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s technical products, customers and market.
- Support the sales and commercial teams with quotation and customer activity.
- Communicate professionally with customers by telephone and email.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver high standards of service.
- Follow up quotations and learn how to convert opportunities into orders.
- Identify customer needs and present appropriate solutions.
- Handle questions, objections and commercial conversations with increasing confidence.
- Liaise effectively with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Use computer systems, spreadsheets and CRM/business systems to manage information accurately.
- Learn how a successful growing business operates and take on increasing responsibility as skills and confidence develop.

Training and Career Development
The successful candidate will receive structured training throughout the first 12 months, covering the technical, commercial, sales and administrative aspects of the role. As knowledge and confidence grow, the role will offer increasing responsibility and the opportunity to build a long-term career within the business.
