Our client is currently seeking a reliable and organised Admin Assistant to join their team in Biggleswade on a permanent part-time basis. This is a varied role, ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to office duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and making outbound calls to customers and suppliers, and internal personnel
- General office administration including filing
- Raising invoices and delivery notes using Sage Accounts
- Maintaining and producing inspection records and reports using our core system and Excel
- Processing customer card payments and liaising with the accounts department
- Assisting with order processing and supporting sales activities (once fully trained)
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 12:30pm – 5:00pm
- Friday: 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Requirements
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred
- Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Excel and Sage Accounts
- Organised, reliable, and able to multitask
- Willingness to learn about products and services
- Flexibility is essential to provide additional cover during holidays and sickness when required.
Salary & Benefits
- £14.00 per hour (depending on experience and suitability)
- Pension scheme and Life Assurance (available after successful 3-month probation period)
