We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant/3.5 Tonne Driver (50/50 split) to join our clients team on a Temp to Perm basis. You will be playing a vital role in the efficient management of inventory, order fulfilment, and transportation operations. This position involves coordinating warehouse activities, assisting with delivery processes, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, drivers and warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of commercial driving. This role offers an engaging environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount to operational success.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the organisation and management of warehouse inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order processing using in-house system.
• Excellent customer service maintained at all times, face to face and via telephone and email communication.
• Dealing with deliveries, attention to detail for ensuring all are correct and booking in using in-house system.
• Picking and packing of orders ready for collection or delivery.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and drivers regarding delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Driving - making deliveries within a 20 mile radius of Biggleswade area.
