Assistant Property Manager – Hertford

£26,000 – £30,000 DOE

The Role

As Assistant Property Manager, you’ll support the Head of Property Management in overseeing a shared portfolio of residential rental properties. You’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly, ensuring landlords and tenants receive the highest levels of service.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Coordinating property maintenance, inspections, and safety certificates.
• Handling renewals, tenancy terminations, and deposit disputes.
• Managing landlord and tenant relationships with professionalism and care.
• Instructing and managing contractors, ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
• Overseeing rent collection and assisting with financial/property reports.
• Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Previous experience in property management (assistant or full property management role).
• Strong knowledge of lettings processes and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with maintenance coordination and safety certification.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-first approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence and your own car.

(ARLA qualification is desirable but not essential.)
